Risk Management

WMRC has identified risk management as a key contributor to continued quality improvement.

Our centre has its own risk management team, which shares information on how to prevent incidents and accidents. It implements action plans following undesirable events and promotes the active involvement of all departments in reducing risks and improving quality.

The service also oversees the Integrated Risk Management Committee, which is made up of representatives from all four departments, WMRC Health Services, WMRC Quality Control Services, Communications Services, the Users’ Committee and both children and adult caregivers. It is a non-judgmental environment where stakeholders can bring forward new ways to ensure safety while respecting users’ needs and integrity.
